Passion Pit, still touring on the strength of last year’s Gossamer, is making its way back to the 1STBANK Center on Tuesday, October 15, for a show with the Joy Formidable. General-admission tickets ($29.75-$36.50) go on sale this Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. Keep reading for more on the shows going on sale this weekend, along with the word on which local songs are being played on the radio and the top album sales locally.

Umphrey’s McGee, which is wrapping up its fifteen-year anniversary at the end of the year, will return to the Fillmore Auditorium for a three-night New Year’s run on Saturday, December 28, Sunday, December 29, and Tuesday December 31. Tickets range from are $35 (December 28 and 29) to $65 (New Year’s Eve), and go on sale this Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m.

Tech N9ne headlines the Fillmore on Saturday, September 19, in support of his new album, Something Else, which hits the streets on July 30. ¡MAYDAY!, Prozak, Stevie Stone and Ces Cru are set to open the show. Tickets ($39.50/$45) go on sale this Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m.
