Freaky Friday: Teen Witch Rap

Today’s exploration of the freaky world of sublime musical stupidity takes us back to the long-gone days of 1989, when it was marginally acceptable to include a freakishly awkward rap number in your bland teen comedy and not expect every actual teen that saw it to throw up in their mouth a little bit. It’s a clip caled “Top That” from Teen Witch, an absoludicrous late-’80s movie, and it is easily the worst rap I have ever heard — and I am a longtime connoisseur of epically bad musical embarrassments and bizarre self-expression.
