Seven months after Tavern 13 relocated a few blocks south from its previous location at 1312 South Broadway to the former Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli spot at 1643 South Broadway, the venue shut its doors the first week in May. When we stopped by to confirm the bar’s closure, a sign was posted on the front window advising that the liquor license had been suspended. Prior to moving this past September, Tavern 13 had been at its former location next door to Pasquini’s for eight years. The previous location is still for rent.
