The theater, tucked into a strip mall off South Colorado Boulevard, is getting “comfortable new seats, new carpeting and state-of-the-art digital projectors,” according to a spokesman for the Landmark chain, which also owns the Mayan and the Esquire.

It will reopen on October 18.
