What is it about Westword news boxes that make people want to do strange things to and with them? Dunno — but in the last year or so, several readers have shared wacky photos of them staging their own version of Boxing Day.
Here’s the first one, taken outside Bushwacker’s Saloon last summer and published on July 12, 2011.
This shot was inspirational for our own Jef Otte, who penned a sequel post headlined “What hideous creature is crawling out of the Westword box this week?” It features the following shot: Something familiar about that guy….
Less than a week later, we received another gift from a reader — this image of a planking drag queen:
