Evangelical pastor Pat Robinson believed God was punishing the United States for its abortion laws with Hurricane Katrina.

He also said that the earthquake that killed more than 100,000 people in Haiti was the result of “a pact” that the country with the devil made to free iself from the French in the early 1700s.

So what would the erudite Robertson have to say about the crazy-weird funnel cloud that hovered near Leadville on Sunday? (See YouTube video after the jump.)

Well, for starters, he’d probably call Leadville a dirtball town. Oh wait, that was Denver Post reporter Mike McPhee.
