On Saturday night, the ritzy new Four Seasons hotel, which opened on October 19, hosted one of the most amazing blowout parties of the year, attracting well over 1,000 movers and shakers, who forked over $325 each to partake in the revelry, which included stilt walkers, a mechanical bull, aerial performers, endless champagne, cocktails and food stations, a poolside soiree and a spectacular live performance from OneRepublic.
But it was the sugar shack, a Willy Wonka-esque chamber of whirly pops, rivers of chocolate, cotton candy, spun sugar, cupcakes, fudge, gum balls, Jelly Bellies and jawbreakers, that left party-goers — model types, included — wide-eyed, tongue-tied and delirious. It was one of the most astonishing candy displays I’ve ever seen, and it was all captured on film.
Behold the sugar highs, along with eye candy of Ryan Tedder, the lead singer of OneRepublic, on the following pages.
