When Cebiche, the Peruvian restaurant at 2257 West 32nd Avenue, closed right after the start of the year, its phone message promised to announce a new location within a couple of weeks. Cebiche’s Sergio Iraola says he’s still looking for the perfect spot — and in the meantime, there’s some action at the old location.
According to a new sign on the space, it will soon be Chavin, serving Peruvian cuisine — like Cebiche and El Chalan, the restaurant that occupied this space two decades ago. And the building’s owners are the folks behind the new venture.
