Game shows have been a crucial part of television programming since the big box first infiltrated living rooms many decades ago. But in 2014, talent-based tournaments like The Voice are more than just a game: This make-or-break challenge pits dozens of aspiring singers against each other to battle it out with the help of chart-topping coaches like Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera.

During The Voice 2014 Tour, a live adaptation of the weekly show, winners from the past six seasons bring their dynamic vocal styles to the stage for a concert packed with duets, group sing-alongs and solo performances. Most recent winner Josh Kaufman will be joined by an array of past favorites like Jake Worthington, Christina Grimmie, Kristen Merlin and more. The audience will also get to see the show’s iconic red chair in person.

The Voice tour hits the stage of the Buell Theatre, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex, tonight at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets, $35 to $65, and get more information at aeglive.com.

Tue., July 22, 7:30 p.m., 2014
