The Senate’s passage of a THC driving-limit bill fired up loads o’ readers, with most of them alarmed by the legislation.

Amid the criticism, though, was this interesting observation about distracted driving.

Recently, I lost two close loved ones within a week, and all I can say is my mind was in a bad place. I couldn’t remember driving from one place to another and was not intoxicated by any substance (including pharmaceuticals). Emotions are just as dangerous as THC, alcohol, cell phones, etc. (as can be seen in some of the irrational, emotionally charged posts here) When are we going to pass a law keeping dangerous grieving people off the road? I should have never been driving in that condition.
