Golden Europe changes hours…but is still Golden

When some fans recently stopped by Golden Europe for lunch, the German-Czech-Polish restaurant at 6620 Wadsworth Boulevard was closed. But not to worry: Golden Europe, which won Best Breaded Ribs in the Best of Denver 1996 (and no one’s ever topped them) is still in business. The owners, who’ve had the Arvada restaurant for fourteen years, just wanted some time off, and so discontinued lunch during the week.   Golden Europe is now open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (It’s closed Sunday and Monday.)
