March saw some much-anticipated openings, including a Denver outpost of The Kitchen as well as James Mazzio’s Red Star Deli in the Ice House, Cinque Soldi Salumeria on South Pearl Street, and the revamped Spuntino in Highland. But longtime barbecue joints dried up all over the metro area.
