It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year since Comida Cantina opened in the Source — ingrained as the building has become in the Denver dining scene’s collective consciousness. Since then, the hulking industrial-age brick-and-steel space has become home to more restaurants, a butcher shop, a tap room and a bakery, but Comida was the first, and now it’s putting on a feast to celebrate.

The five-course tequila and mezcal dinner will take place this Sunday, August 24, at 6:45 p.m., featuring paired cocktails made with Tequila Ocho and Pierde Almas Mezcal.

Tickets are $65 per person (exclusive of tax and tip); it looks like it’s going to be a hot party, so call 303-296-2747 or e-mail the restaurant to grab seats or get a menu rundown. Bartender Nick Touch of the cocktail and hospitality team Bon Vivants will be on hand to shake things up.
