As we noted last week, Twitter Nation thought Peyton Manning couldn’t beat Tom Brady in Sunday’s AFC championship game.
And neither did our own Brian Badzmierowski, whose post on the topic was headlined TOM BRADY, PATRIOTS WILL KICK BRONCOS’ ASS AND HERE’S WHY.
Well, surprise, surprise. The Broncos’ defense was absolutely stellar, and Peyton Manning did just enough to eke out an agonizing but eminently satisfying 20-18 win yesterday and earn a trip to Super Bowl 50.
Afterward, Brady haters took to Twitter to express themselves – and plenty of them did so with the assistance of two very special words.
