Colorado’s own Michelle Malkin made an appearance, sort of, in the opening sketch of Saturday Night Live‘s latest ep. The gag involved an alleged attempt by Fox News to embrace civility à la David Sirota in the wake of the horrific Jared Loughner shootings — but that proves easier said than done after an appearance by Bill Hader as ultra-liberal James Carville.

Nasim Pedrad doesn’t manage an amazing Malkin impression, or really much of one at all. But she does have a nice moment when her head seems in danger of exploding, Scanners-style. See the video below.
