Earlier today, the liberal ProgressNow Colorado organization sent out its regular e-mail news digest under the signature of Dick Wadhams, head of the Colorado Republican Party, complete with a goofy pic of Dick at the top. Happy April Fool’s Day! But something not as funny from ProgressNow’s standpoint — but probably hilarious to conservatives — subsequently took place. At this writing, attempts to visit ProgressNow’s website is greeted with a message that reads: “Forbidden: You don’t have permission to access/on this server.”

Coincidence? Payback prank? Or karmic backlash? Only the gods of comedy know for sure.
