School may have started, but at least there’s recess, and Recess Beer Garden — which includes a restaurant, a 38-foot bar and a huge, 4,000-square-foot beer garden — opens this weekend at 2715 17th Street in a former book-binding warehouse in Lower Highland. Recess will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. all three days during Labor Day Weekend. We sent photographer Danielle Lirette to take a sneak peek; here’s a taste of Recess.
