Apparently those budget cuts aren’t coming out of the Tourism Department’s free crap fund. Earlier in the week we advised you to sign up for the Telluride vacation giveaway. Today, it’s hats, which the state will generously give anyone who goes to one of the state’s 10 welcome centers.
You’ll need to RSVP here with the day and which center. The logo on the hat is, of course, an embroidered rendition of the iconic signs you find at the border. It’s a handsome look in either case.
The nearest welcome center to Denver is at Red Rocks, if you’re looking to up the state pride in your wardrobe.
