Even the hardest-willed Type A sometimes needs to slow down. And naturally, so do the rest of us. Tonight in the garden behind Hinterland, everyone’s welcome to sample three loosely interrelated mind-loosening disciplines designed to slow down your pulse and amp up your chakras during SAN, an evening of “music, energy-connection and intuitive readings” by Sabin Aell, Silvana Vukadin-Hoitt and Matthew Hunzeker.

Aell will conjure up a bit of shamanic alchemy with gentle touch, crystals, stones, metal and sound designed to realign your personal energy flow, while Vukadin-Hoitt will sit with you to read the grounds in the bottom of your Turkish coffee cup; Hunzeker will perform healing drones, chants and soundscapes on his menagerie of handmade instruments. Together and apart, the trio is certain to leave you in a far calmer state than the one you arrived in.
