Last Sunday, the Denver Art Museum’s American Indian Art Galleries suddenly got a whole lot more personal: That’s when DAM native arts curator Nancy Blomberg unveiled a whole new way of looking at Indian art to the public, by celebrating the individual talents of heretofore unrecognized artists and craftsmen. The new displays include both old favorites and challenging new works, as well, and some of the arrangements are simply stunning. Find the American Indian Art Galleries on the second and third floors of the DAM’s North Building. The Denver Art Museum is at 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway, between Broadway and Bannock.
