New year, new seasons: Local theater companies are kicking off 2015 with glittering reruns, romantic comedies and repertory fare, among other things. Here are four of the noteworthy openings this weekend.

Critics, including Westword‘s Juliet Wittman, loved this dazzling, one-woman tour de force performance when BETC first staged it last fall. And so did audiences, which is why the company is bringing it back for a short run in the new year. Laura Norman again plays the fighter pilot whose flying career is cut short by a pregnancy in this National New Play Network award-winner.
