There are a million parties in the naked city, and this is definitely one of them. At tonight’s Boots N’ Boxers fundraiser at Casselman’s Bar & Venue, 2620 Walnut Street, models will strut the catwalk in just their skivvies, which will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder — with the winner shown to a private area with his or her model for the underwear exchange.

“We don’t just parade boys out and auction off their underwear,” explains Boots N’ Boxers director Shannon McCarthy. Of course, the undergarments are the main attraction at the benefit, now in its fifth year and one of Denver’s biggest fundraising events for the gay community, with donations going to teen-focused Rainbow Alley, among others. (Last year’s auction brought in bids as high as $250 for a single pair of underwear.) There will be three “acts” of runway walks throughout the night, each capped off by a performance by the Mile High Freedom Band, another GLBTQ organization devoted to good works. And for the first time in its half-decade history, the event will welcome a female model to the stage.

Doors open at 7 p.m. tonight for the 21+ event, with the first model walk beginning at 8; tickets are $10. For more information, go to www.bootsnboxers.com.
