So you’ve always wanted to go to Rio de Janeiro for Carnaval, but never had the time, the cash or the costumes. Well, Estrojam is presenting the next best thing tonight with Burlesque Carnaval, a samba extravaganza that includes aerial acrobatics, burlesque performances and dancing to the sounds of Daniel Lucio and Sambadendê. Host venue Trilogy Wine Bar & Lounge, 2017 13th Street in Boulder, will sweeten the evening’s activities with caipirinhas, a lime drink made with cachaça, Brazilian sugarcane liquor. Samba over to Trilogy at 9 p.m.; your tropical escape will cost a mere $15 ($12 if you’re a student), with proceeds benefiting the Estrojam music and culture festival in Chicago.
