Walk, run or bike to Civic Center Park tonight for an outdoor showing of Field of Dreams, the first of this summer’s free Civic Center Bike-In Movies, a series of four flicks showing for free on an inflatable big screen in the heart of Denver. Movie-goers are welcome to set up blankets, low-back chairs and picnic spreads in the park beginning at 7:30 p.m.; showtime coincides with the setting sun.

Don’t feel like bringing your own dinner dish? Various food trucks will be set up around the park for patrons wishing to eat out under the stars. Upcoming shows include E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial, The Social Network and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
For more information on the all-ages Bike-In program, go to www.civiccenterconservancy.org or call 303-861-4633. Civic Center Park is at the intersection of Broadway and Colfax Avenue; for schedules and locations of more free outdoor film screenings across the city, visit www.denvergov.org/parksandrec.
