Portlandia screening at Alamo Drafthouse (Wednesday, free)
Since we live in Denver and get clowned for our marijuana intake, it’s nice to have a show that makes fun of another town, one unique in its own way. The Alamo will be showing three great episodes of the show featuring the bookstore ladies, gutterpunks and homemade clothing, and all kinds of other silly Portlandia things. Bonus: Stick around for a screening of Winterbeast for only a buck.

The Wild Geese of Goosetown at Goosetown Tavern (Thursday, free)
A Denver comedy show, by Denver comedians and supported by Denver companies like Twist & Shout and Sexy Pizza, makes for a good time. Not only is the comedy from Kristin Rand, Jordan Doll, Patrick Scott and a slew of others free, but there will be giveaways from the sponsors as well. Let’s laugh, Denver.
