Bob’s Sandwich Shop, 820 Main Street in downtown Louisville, has served the community breakfast, subs and sandwiches for a few years now. But it’s time for a remodel — and a new name.
“Closed for repairs” often means a place has bit the dust, never to return, but there are indications that Bob’s will rise again. The phone is still connected, and a message says the shop is closed for cleaning and and maintenance. The timeline is vague: “a few weeks.”
When it does reopen, the place will be named Bob’s Cafe.
