This week in Cafe Society, Gretchen Kurtz visited and reviewed Scratch Burrito and Happy Tap, which combines Chipotle-style service with global ingredients. Lori Midson talked to Martin Campos, executive chef at Comida Cantina, about his history as a chef and how he works in the kitchen in this week’s Chef and Tell. Mark Antonation also got his fill of burritos in this week’s Federal Case, at Jack-n-Grill.
Also this week, we learned Acorn is jumping on the doughnut bandwagon with its new foie-gras donut. ViewHouse revealed the design for its second location in Centennial, and we counted down the 10 Colorado distilleries that opened this past year.
