It’s always been a bit of a mystery: Where, exactly, does the produce at Denver farmers’ markets come from? While some of it does come from local farms, as you might expect, a good portion hails from distant operations in California and Mexico.
As of next year, however, folks will know for sure where the goods come from at all the farmers’ markets put on by the Denver company Colorado Fresh Markets — which includes most of the farmers’ markets in town. To find out why, check out this update in the Latest Word.
