And, of course, there have been the standard queries about why the editorial picks are given so much more prominence than the Readers’ Choice awards.

Sorry, the readers have spoken — and their pick for the Best Fried Chicken is White Fence Farm. While that fried chicken isn’t bad — we know of a group of otherwise respectable chefs who go to White Fence Farm every year for a bird birthday bash — Cafe Society chose Tom’s Home Cookin’ for the Best Fried Chicken in Denver. Take a bite, and we know you’ll agree.
