Reader: We scream for ice cream — but in Berkeley or Harkness Heights?

Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend, Matt and Rosemary Lopez, who’ve owned Taza de Cafe for the six years, finally opened Charlie’s Ice Cream Social right next door in the hot Berkeley neighborhood.

I know “Berkeley” has taken over everything, but if you want to be really all about this neigborhood name crap (which everyone that has invaded this area does), it is really Harkness Heights, since the place in on 44th and east of Lowell.
