Last month, we brought you news that Ezra Malmuth and Nathan Barnett, who have been cooking together since they started a barbecue club in response to their school installing a vegetarian salad bar, planned to wheel a food truck onto the street. Their concept was Stick it to Me, a mobile kitchen serving gourmet food on a stick.
And now the friends are ready to make their debut — at a tacky sweater party.
Specifically, the guys will set up at the Atomic Cowboy (the subject of this week’s review), 3237 East Colfax Avenue, on December 17, where they’ll offer a menu of fried mashed potato balls, waffles with fruit compote and Korean BBQ short ribs on a stick.
“We’re doing quick easy eat food for the event,” says Malmuth. “We’ll have salads and stuff, too, when we’re out during the day.”

The guys will roll up to the party at 7 p.m and stay until close. After that, you’ll have to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to determine their whereabouts.
