Tahona Tequila Bistro, 1035 Pearl Street in Boulder, now offers $2 tacos from 4 p.m. to close every Tuesday.
“We introduced the deal last Tuesday and it was really popular,” says manager John Ryan. “We sold something like 200 tacos that night.”
Taco Tuesday is limited to the following tacos:
Chicken Mole Tacos with red chile & cocoa braised dark meat, peanuts,
pickled cabbage, and queso frescoPork Carnitas Tacos with onions, cilantro and a lime aioli-cabbage slaw
Carne con Cerveza: beef braised with Tecate beer and Mexican spices, with
shaved cabbage, red onions and queso fresco
Tahona also offers a daily happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. featuring discounts on nearly a dozen menu items and specials on margaritas, shooters, wine and beer — view the menu here. Also available seven days a week is the “Daily Dos”: the drink of the day paired with a small plate (chef’s choice) for $7.
