What do Madonna, Love & Rockets and Barenaked Ladies have in common? Remix mastermind Dave Audé, who is also known for his work on Nike commercials, his residencies at clubs in St. Louis, Las Vegas and Los Angeles and his part in the group Lunatic Fringe. Spending his formative years as a DJ in L.A.’s Club Truth, Audé also drove the bandwagon for Moonshine Records, long lauded for its zeal for underground electronica artists and independent ethic. His latest disc, Nocturnal Wonderland, displays his impressive abilities to ferret out the best tracks and weave them together seamlessly. Want some? Lucky you, Audé will be gracing the decks at The Church on Thursday, August 22, with fellow chart-topping spinners David Ireland and Jason Brooks, as part of BPM’s California Dreamin’ Tour. Just do it. — Catalina Soltero
