When the Skeleton Show filmed its new video for “White Buzzard” at Sweet Action, the quaint ice cream parlor on south Broadway, evidently, the shoot was a hot…er, make that cold mess. “We spent probably three to four hours after the shoot just cleaning every inch of Sweet Action,” recalls guitarist Leighton Peterson, who splits his time with Safe Boating Is No Accident. “Chia was really awesome about working with us for the shoot. It helped that we shot it and January, when Sweet Action is closed for the whole month. I could tell he was a little nervous about us having a twenty-person ice cream fight in his shop, though. He was right to be…it was a sticky, slippery mess. Melted ice cream on a tile floor is quite slippery, as it turns out.”
