If you don’t already have big plans for your Wednesday night (and you aren’t hurting too much from Tueday’s St. Paddy’s revelry), consider heading out to the Meadowlark. Mike Marchant of the Widowers will be playing a set in support of Big Timber and he promises some brand new tunes. Marchant is a consistently enchanting performer, whether appearing with his Widowers cohorts or solo, and he’s one of the finest songwriters in town, so it should be a nice mid-week treat. And hey, since he’s solo , it probably won’t even be loud enough to fracture your green-beer split head. The show, which kicks off at 9 p.m. and also feature a performance by Mile Hi-Fidelity co-host Andy Thomas, will set you back a whopping six bucks.
