Nothing says summer like hot dogs, ice cream cones, and Whitney Houston’s head exploding into a pile of raw meat. Artist Milton Melvin Croissant III (www.mmciii.com) and musician Colin Ward (of local outfits Phonebooks and Alphabets) celebrate the end of the season with “Summer Hitz 20XX,” a music-video collaboration that surfaced over the weekend. Ward and Croissant’s head trips pleasantly align in this happy hyperspace tribute to babies in hot dog costumes, sacred symbols and a lot of pop-culture mutation. Until now, we had no idea the dark side of the moon actually had a three-eyed smiley face on it.
