Denverites’ dream of a winter mountain music festival have been once again buried — in late-season snow and disappointment — as the Minus Zero Festival has announced it will be postponed until “sometime during the 2016/2017 ski season.”

The multi-day winter sports and electronic music festival, featuring Diplo and Kaskade, was scheduled for April 2-3 at Winter Park Resort, and many music fans hoped might replace the once-beloved SnowBall festival. According to a release this morning, the weather delayed set-up, and festival organizers could not “move ahead on a pre-production level which is needed to ensure a safe and successful event.”

Minus Zero will honor all refund requests, but ticket holders will be able to use their tickets for the rescheduled festival. Contact info@wintermusicfestivals.com for more information.

No word yet on a more specific date for the rescheduled festival or what steps organizers will take to prevent future cancellations/postponements.
