Seraphim Shock hasn’t gigged all that much over the past few years it seems, so word of a pair of benefit shows the act is doing at Paris Wine Bar (1553 Platte Street) should excite longtime fans. On Thursday and Friday, June 10 and 11, the group is set to perform two shows for Jamey Nalezinek, a friend of the band who recently fractured her tibia during an accident, forcing her to have major surgery.

“These two nights will be unlike anything the SS followers have seen in Denver since the mid ’90s,” the band promises on its MySpace page. “Paris capacity is only 125, making this the most intimate setting for a Seraphim D Town performance in the past 15 years.”

Last month, the group released Black Heart Revival, which is available through the Seraphim Shock website. Tickets for the show are $10, and are available at 6 p.m. day of show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m.
