The Lumineers are one of several Colorado acts that have gone national, moving from playing local haunts such as the Meadowlark to performing at Coors Field.
Now the Denver-based band has just announced it will perform at the biggest venue in Denver: Empower Field at Mile High.
The Lumineers will light up the stadium on August 2. It’s one of the group’s North American dates for its world tour, which will include opening sets from fellow Denver act Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, as well as St. Vincent, Hippo Campus and more. The announcement comes just before the release of the Lumineers’ newest album, Automatic, which drops on Friday, February 14.
