WMC sendoff party Sunday

While everyone here is busy regretting not being at SXSW, I’m busy looking forward to regretting not being at the other giant music-industry party that kicks off next week. That’d be the Winter Music Conference in Miami for all you non-dance music loving freaks out there. If, like me, you’re just as bummed at not being able to attend this as SXSW, you should head down to Bar Standard on Sunday afternoon and help send off some of our local contigent with a bang. Brandon Bass (pictured), Louis Marr, Joey M, Uriah West and Rescue will be playing all day (starting at 2 p.m.) and into the night, there’s no cover and plenty of drink specials.
