Yo! Raps names Starting Five as next to blow

Yo! Raps Magazine must really have their ear to the street, or they’re just awfully prescient. This morning the site posted a Q&A with the Starting Five in their Next 2 Blow section. Starting Five? Next 2 Blow? Scratching your head? Don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard of these cats yet. The crew is brand spanking new. Hell, we just caught wind of the collaboration a little less than a month ago ourselves. Just the same, given the outfit’s stellar line-up, which consists of Whygee, Sunkenstate, Naeem Oba, CharleyBrand and DJ brikAbrak, it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest if this crew blew up as advertised. Either way, it’s nice to see peeps outside of Denver finally taking notice of our homegrown hip-hop.
