So there’s this election next week, and apparently Colorado is playing some sort of important role. Not sure how it works, but it seems there’s a good chance that lady from Fargo will be coming through to make her pitch again. And if she does, she’ll have one damn cool present waiting for her.
As the Yahoo! Sports hockey blog, Puck Daddy, discovered, Artist Frank Cirpa has designed one of his trademark air-brushed goalie masks just for Sarah Palin — complete with photos of a pitbull, lipstick and Palin herself. He hopes to use some connections to get the mask to the VP hopeful the next time she comes through Colorado. If that doesn’t work, “We’ll get it to her somehow,” he told me.
If that doesn’t work … can I have it? I’m no fan of Palin, hockey or pitbulls, and I haven’t worn lipstick in months. But I know eBay gold when I see it. — Joe Tone
