The Broncos’ loss to the Rams on Sunday was tough on everyone, but particularly wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who left the field after taking a brutal hit that was quickly turned into a popular Vine that’s on view below. But the game didn’t kill him, despite Wikipedia briefly making a claim to the contrary. Here are the details, and Sanders’s amusing reaction.

Presumably because of this play, which prevented Sanders from reentering the game and is requiring him to go through the NFL’s concussion protocol, a Wikipedia user declared him dead, as seen in this tweet shared by 9News:
