The Denver coroner’s office has released its list of homicides in Denver for the first half of 2010 — sixteen deaths.
Some of those listed include straight-forward slayings , like the case of Douglass Singleton, who was allegedly killed by Peter Bellar in a marijuana transaction gone wrong. Others are more ambiguous, like the case of Marcus Duran, a teen killed in what was ultimately ruled a justifiable homicide.
