Vail’s Lindsay Vonn announced that a knee injury would prevent her competing in the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. But Coloradans will still have plenty of rooting interest. The official total of participating athletes from our fair state is nineteen — among them highly touted skier Mikaela Shiffrin, seen here and below. Continue for details about all twenty, featuring photos, videos and text from TeamUSA.org.
