Our item yesterday about the Denver Post cutting Doonesbury from its print edition attracted some appropriately cutting comments.
Here’s one from a reader who has a theory about why the Post is still running one particularly antiquated strip.

Yet another indication of the Denver Post Death Spiral. Who reads Beatle Bailey? The same audience that’s looking for cheap dental implants — the Post’s primary advertising source.Unlike their apparent audience, I do not have one foot in the grave, even though I’ve been reading the comics for 50 years.
