A recent Comment of the Day post in which a reader argued that too many Coloradans display out-of-state hate revved up even more conversation.
Many of the remarks came from people born elsewhere.
According to them, an antipathy for folks who don’t have roots in the state is stronger here than other places they’ve been — and so is a sense of entitlement over this status.
This response sums up much of the argument.

Well, I’m from out-of-state an I don’t act like I own Colorado. People who live here act like its a big deal they are from here, with those stupid “native” stickers. Like, we get it you’re from Colorado. You don’t have to tell us every 5 seconds, like a vegan.
