Kelsey Whipple’s post about the profane exchange between Fox31’s Eli Stokols and Occupy Denver protesters was a big conversation starter, with plenty of folks exhibiting vastly different takes on the same topic. Example: a reader who thinks Stokols should have kept himself in check despite provocation from the OD forces.

The irony of telling the Occupy Denver folks in the video to stay classy while dropping f-bombs and calling them morons must be lost on Eli. He should be able to his job as a journalist whether he respects the views of the protesters or not. You report and analyze the facts, something that isn’t contingent upon them taking you out for a steak dinner stoking your ego.
