Our post about the Boulder County District Attorney deciding not to charge the homeowner who killed home invader Roberto Zamora found the majority of readers on one side of the issue.
Most of them felt the actions were legal under Colorado’s Make My Day law.
But a handful had a different take on what happened to Zamora, a nineteen-year-old CU Boulder student who is suspected to have been under the effect of hallucinogenic mushrooms at the time of the incident.

How about communicating? What, the homeowner doesn’t know how to speak? Yeah, defend your home and family. He was just a kid, man, don’t act like you people are perfect and haven’t done anything stupid. So a young man has to lose his life on a stupid decision. If all of us were killed doing something stupid by some ass who has the wrong ideas cause he wants to play Dirty Harry, bullshit to that. That’s all I’m going to say about that.
