Patricia Calhoun’s post about the great press garnered by John Hickenlooper nationally — including his name surfacing as a possible vice-presidential candidate — didn’t convince one reader, who’s a bit lukewarm about the governor’s idiosyncrasies.

I think there’s a bit of Hick fatigue going on with us locals. We’re a lot more than goofy-beer swilling-attention grabbing politicians. In the big leagues, you gotta stand for something and its gotta be more than “Love me ’cause I’m quirky!”
